Public Address System Request for Proposal


East Haven Public Schools is soliciting proposals for a Public Address System Expansion for all school buildings. Bid documents are due by no later than 1:00pm June 07, 2018. Proposal specifications may be obtained from the Finance Office of East Haven Public Schools 35 Wheelbarrow Lane East Haven, CT 06512, or may be downloaded from the school district’s website: Look under Business/Finance Office, bid specifications.

There is a mandatory pre-­bid conference meeting will take place on May 15, 2018 at 9:00 AM at the following location: East Haven High School Board Room 35 Wheelbarrow Lane East Haven, CT 06513 The pre-­bid conference is mandatory for bidders submitting responses with an installation component.

Vendor Q&A-

Q - Is there information missing from the blueprints for Tuttle School? 

A - Yes. Revised files with speaker locations were uploaded on May 16.

Q - Is there a way go get a lift to the Cafeteria Patio outside of the East Haven High School.

A - Yes, however the patio only allows access to 3 of the 4 speaker locations. The acceptable solution is to have the speakers mounted approximately 15 feet above ground level, and have the internal wiring run accordingly.
